Qatar was a bad outing for Daniel Ricciardo as he finished P12 . He reveals that the reason behind was due to fuel warning on his dash starting from lap1 , which made him to go into fuel saving .
As he went into fuel saving, he was probably going two seconds a lap slower .He then started pushing again only after the team confirmed that it was a data error .
Ricciardo was quoted saying ” I don’t know why i laugh , i don’t mean to laugh .It was painful and it’s just obviously something that’s gone wrong in data or the calculations today and we were getting the wrong information” .
